Team Lead
UI/UX Development
since June 2020
As the UI/UX Development Team Lead at VBET, I stood at the intersection of creative vision and technical reality. I didn't just manage a team; I engineered the bridge between design and development, ensuring that pixel-perfect aesthetics met scalable, high-performance code. I championed the creation of robust Design Systems that streamlined our workflow, slashed development time, and guaranteed consistency across our massive digital ecosystem. My tenure was defined by breaking down silos, advocating for accessibility, and empowering my team to turn complex user needs into seamless, intuitive interfaces.
Managing a diverse team of 15 developers and designers, I established a scalable ecosystem for continuous learning. I moved beyond ad-hoc mentorship to create structured knowledge-sharing channels, including weekly 'Tech Talks,' deep-dive code review sessions, and dedicated workshops on emerging tech (e.g., Animation libraries, Accessibility standards). By standardizing our onboarding and upskilling processes, I reduced the ramp-up time for new hires and ensured that senior knowledge was effectively transferred to junior members, eliminating critical knowledge silos.
My primary focus as a Lead was to unlock the potential of every individual in my 15-person squad. I implemented personalized Professional Development Plans (PDPs) for each member, aligning their career aspirations with our business goals. Whether transforming a junior developer into a confident mid-level contributor or helping a designer master front-end logic, I provided the dedicated coaching and resources they needed. This investment in people resulted in higher team retention, increased morale, and a pipeline of internal leaders ready to take on more responsibility.
